Service Description
o Duration and Boat Capacity: - 8 Hours - Your Captain is licensed to take up to six people per trip. This does include infants. Pets are welcome and do not count toward the six-person limit. If your group has more than six people, please give us a call. We may be able to arrange a second boat. Additional rates do apply for multiple boats. - After your booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email with your trip details and a link to our waiver form. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call or send an email. In the meantime, please visit our FAQ page for common questions. o About: - If you’re looking for a day in the sun with the freshest seafood possible, the full-day clam roast is for you. You will spend the morning catching clams and around lunchtime, your Captain will take you to a nearby island or beach to set up camp for the day. While you are setting up your beach gear, your Captain will start a fire and prepare the clam roast. You will just let your Captain know how many clams you would like to roast. This trip is customizable, so if you want to spend some time fishing, you can do that too. The island you will spend the day on will be one of the islands we explore searching for seashells, most of which have shallow calm waters to wade and swim in. - Below are some common catches: > Clams: Little Neck > Spanish Mackerel > Bluefish > Sheepshead > Drum > Speckled Trout > Spot > Croaker > Flounder > We do adhere to all NC Wildlife Fishery laws and regulations, which include size, bag limits, and closed seasons. Your Captain will go over these with you after booking. o We provide everything needed for the activities, including: - Fishing License - All tackle and equipment - Cooler with Ice - Coal - Aluminum Pans - Cooking Utensils - Roast Ingredients (Dry White Wine and Butter) - Garbage Bags - Life Jackets (Adult, children, and infants) - PLEASE NOTE: We only prepare the actual clam roast, so please bring any other food or drink items you would like to have for the day. o What you can bring: - Sun protection/hats - Alcohol is permitted, but no glass bottles. - Umbrellas, chairs, and additional coolers are also welcomed. We still must be mindful of space on the boat, but we will try to accommodate items you need for the beach.
Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: Cancellations, Partial Trips, and No-Shows o Captain Cancellations: Our Captains pay very close attention to the weather report. If your trip is canceled because of inclement weather, we will do our best to reschedule. If we are unable to reschedule, any funds paid toward the trip will be refunded in full. o Customer Cancellations: If you cancel the trip outside of 24 hours, all funds paid toward the trip are refunded in full. Deposits toward the trip are non-refundable for customer cancellations within 24 hours of the trip. o Partial Trips: There may be days when the weather will only allow for a partial trip. If the trip is shortened due to the weather, we will work with customers on prorating the cost of the trip. o No-Shows: No Refund
