About Your Captains
Countrytime Coastal was established in 2022 with the mission to provide your family with a joyful and exciting vacation adventure in the beautiful Outer Banks. We are a proudly veteran-owned company. Captain Kelly served in the Navy from 1969 to 1974, and Captain Kelly Jr. has been serving in the US Army since 2003.
Both captains hold current US Coast Guard Captain's Licenses and CPR/AED Certification and boast extensive experience navigating the waters of the OBX.
We are excited to share our knowledge and passion, ensuring that you and your family create unforgettable fishing stories of your own. We look forward to welcoming you aboard for an exceptional Outer Banks experience!
About Our Services
During our boating adventures, we explore the inland waters of Hatteras Island, North Carolina. Occasionally we will venture into the Atlantic Ocean for fishing trips, but that depends on the weather. Our services do not involve what is commonly known as offshore fishing. If weather permits and we decide to fish in the ocean, we will stay along the shorelines.
We operate two boats. We have a 24-foot Kencraft with a 150-horsepower Yamaha outboard motor, and a 21-foot Carolina Skiff with a 115-horsepower Suzuki outboard motor.
Safety and fun are our priorities. Our adventures are not fun if they are not safe. Your Captain will keep you informed of any booking changes due to weather.
