Who needs a seafood market? Catch your own clam dinner while having fun in the sun wading in the shallow inland waters of Hatteras Island.
During low tide, many sand islands will appear near Hatteras Inlet. These islands house many exotic shells for beach combers to find. You will feel like you're on your own private island as you search for conch shells, shark eyes, scotch bonnets, sea glass, and much more.
Fishing
There is nothing like a fresh fish dinner, and the excitement you feel when you have a "big one" on the end of your line. The inland waters of Hatteras Island offer an array of fish species, such as Spanish Mackerel, Trout, and blue fish.
Experience the thrill of pulling crab pots to the side of the boat and seeing them full of blue crabs. You will feel like a local as you shake crabs from the pot into your basket. This type of fishing is a little work, but it is worth it.
The inland waters of Hatteras Island offers countless wildlife and landscape photo opportunities. Countrytime Coastal offers a customizable experience for individuals, couples, and families. Allow Captain Kelly and Countrytime Coastal to be your guide for the day as you clam, look for shells, fish, or just explore the inland waters of Hatteras Island, NC.
Countrytime Coastal is located at Oden's Dock in Hatteras, NC. As we like to say, the "early fisherman gets the catch." Please ensure to be on time for your adventure. If you are traveling from the Kill Devil Hills area, keep in mind that your trip to Hatteras will be about an hour. If you are running late, please just give Captain Kelly a call.

We do follow ALL US Coast Guard regulations, to include the maximum amount of passengers we can carry on a single boat. Your party may have 6 people on board the Countrytime. If your party has more than 6 people, you will need to book at least two boats. If this is the case, please let us know when you call so we can help to arrange an additional boat for you.

We provide iced coolers and all the gear needed for your adventure. Please bring food, drinks, and any items you would normally take to the beach, such as hats, sunscreen, etc. Alcoholic beverages are permitted. We also allow dogs. Dogs can drink as long as they are 3 years old (21 in human years).
